Once the clients have been established it only takes a matter of weeks to install the microwave radio and the customer premise equipment. Typically the microwave radio is installed on the rooftop within line of site to the base station's microwave radio. This can be seen in the above picture which shows service to the museum from the base station.

The customer premise equipment is typically installed in a rack mounted chassis within a closet or room. Once communication is made between the radios it will transmit information to the customer premise equipment and then allow the customer to use the wireless service.
