Les White from L-3 Communications congratulates David Pierce and John W. Dilley on winning the Nextlink contract right after the news had been announced at the Broadband Wireless World Forum March 14th 2000. Mr. Pierce explained that the negations for the contract had been going on for a lengthy period of time and and that he was relieved to have finally completed the deal.

John Skoro displayed the Nortel Networks turnkey LMDS solution right after the announcement of the Nextlink contract. The equipment was running live in a private room from the auditorium to demonstrate the functionality of the entire point to point microwave solution. Frederic Carrier also from Nortel Networks displayed the CPE equipment using TDMA. He provided an in depth look into the user ability and speed of using TDMA.

Thomas E. Schroder manned the incoming flurry of questions at the Nortel Networks booth right after the announcement was made. The announcement drew a great deal of interest from CLEC's as well as from their competition.
